    Let's see... uh.....

Ah dang it... I'll have to post it when I remember, for I have short-term memory.

HOWEVER, if you want to check out my stats from the first year (when I posted it), and when I had a Braves franchise going, I will be glad to post those.

    Just a sec.

      GIANTS YEAR 1

In the last 10 games I am 8-2, and my current streak is one loss. Got one more game vs St Louis IN St Louis, ending the 4 game series.

      UPDATE:

I finally finished my season. I ended up tieing with San Diego with a record of 85-77 (tied in 1st place), but for some reason, I make it to the playoffs. SWEET!

Oh, and Bonds ended up with 54 homers.

So, my first series will be vs Houston (who I just recently played). The other two teams are St Louis and Atlanta. I haven't started any playoff games yet though.

I released Ellis Burks and signed Alex Ochoa, but since Burks was on the DL, he wasn't on the 25 man roster, so then I had 26 people... that's why I had to demote MR Kevin Pickford to the minors.

Here are my transactions made so far this year:

      BEFORE SEASON:

      -Dropped Johnny Estrada
      -Dropped Cory Aldridge
      -Droppd Chris Haney
      -Called up Jung Bong
      -Called up Julio Franco
      -Called up Henry Blanco

Then during the season my lefty specialist Kevin Gryboski was slumping (13.2 IP, 17 H and 6.58 ERA vs lefties with me), and Vinny Castilla wasn't doing hot either (24 H, 3 home runs in just 112 AB), and Chipper Jones was starting to do well at third, so HE is now my second string 3rd baseman instead of Matt Franco, so I made the following trade on May 13th:

-Braves acquire Mike Myers from D-Backs
-Braves acquire Carlos Baerga from D-Backs
-D-Backs acquire Matt Franco from Braves
-D-Backs acquire Vinny Castilla from Braves
-D-Backs acquire Kevin Gryboski from Braves
-D-Backs acquire Johnny Estrada from Braves

And after this I called up Ryan Langerhans to be another alternate outfielder for now, and with all the extra money I re-signed Javy Lopez to a 4 years deal worth 12 BP's per year. Now this way, Carlos Baerga starts about 2/3's of the games at third, otherwise he's a pinch hitter, and Chipper Jones plays third those games... that gives either Darren Bragg, Cory Aldridge, or Ryan Langerhans starting opportunities in LF. Also, my backup catcher is Henry Blanco, so I didn't need Johnny Estrada anyways. And my new lefty specialist is Mike Myers, who so far is slumping, but that's what I'm hoping it is.

Okay, now for my regular season lineup and statistics on the year:

I put a lot more effort into my Braves one (don't know why), and I stopped doing the updates for some reason or another (well, I guess that you can take a wild guess... look at all of the numbers I had to write).

I released Ellis Burks and signed Alex Ochoa, but since Burks was on the DL, he wasn't on the 25 man roster, so then I had 26 people... that's why I had to demote MR Kevin Pickford to the minors.

          BRAVES

So far after 49 games, I am 30-19 with my Braves, and am in first place in my division. The Expos are 5 1/2 games back of me with a .500 25-25 record.

Here are my transactions made so far this year:

          BEFORE SEASON:

          -Dropped Johnny Estrada
          -Dropped Cory Aldridge
          -Droppd Chris Haney
          -Called up Jung Bong
          -Called up Julio Franco
          -Called up Henry Blanco

Then during the season my lefty specialist Kevin Gryboski was slumping (13.2 IP, 17 H and 6.58 ERA vs lefties with me), and Vinny Castilla wasn't doing hot either (24 H, 3 home runs in just 112 AB), and Chipper Jones was starting to do well at third, so HE is now my second string 3rd baseman instead of Matt Franco, so I made the following trade on May 13th:

-Braves acquire Mike Myers from D-Backs
-Braves acquire Carlos Baerga from D-Backs
-D-Backs acquire Matt Franco from Braves
-D-Backs acquire Vinny Castilla from Braves
-D-Backs acquire Kevin Gryboski from Braves
-D-Backs acquire Johnny Estrada from Braves

And after this I called up Ryan Langerhans to be another alternate outfielder for now, and with all the extra money I re-signed Javy Lopez to a 4 years deal worth 12 BP's per year. Now this way, Carlos Baerga starts about 2/3's of the games at third, otherwise he's a pinch hitter, and Chipper Jones plays third those games... that gives either Darren Bragg, Cory Aldridge, or Ryan Langerhans starting opportunities in LF. Also, my backup catcher is Henry Blanco, so I didn't need Johnny Estrada anyways. And my new lefty specialist is Mike Myers, who so far is slumping, but that's what I'm hoping it is.

Okay, now for my regular season lineup and statistics on the year:

I know it's a long read and stuff, but if you just want to look at main guys, you can.

I put a lot more effort into my Braves one (don't know why), and I stopped doing the updates for some reason or another (well, I guess that you can take a wild guess... look at all of the numbers I had to write).

Re: Is it true that WSB 2K3 has player scouting reports?

Oh, I never got a chance to play.

However, I think that it goes like this:

                  AI Difficulty: All Star
                  AI Sliders: Pro
                  Cursor size: Very Small
                  Pitching Speed: Very Fast
                  Variable Pitching: High
                  Auto-Field Lock: Off
                  Strikezone: Off for both
                  Swing Feedback: Off
                  Pitching Cursor: Off
                  Pitch Preview: Off

I pitch in the behind the pitcher view

Every other home series I bat in the behind the pitcher view

                  Batting camera: Low

Some of the things that I do:

With two strikes, I never swing with Power unless I feel that it's crucial for me to.

Almost half of the time, I will take until I get a strike.

I tend to play my alternates a lot (check out their stats).

I don't steal too much, and I actually don't have that stealing problem that everybody has (check out my stats).

When I'm on defense, for fast guys, I move in with everybody (sometimes it works, sometimes they find a hole and it gets to the wall).

I try to hit corners while pitching (more than half of the time).

Hope that most of that helps.

BTW, I have the PS2 version if that changes everything.

Re: Is it true that WSB 2K3 has player scouting reports?

Oh, I never got a chance to play.

However, I think that it goes like this:

                    AI Difficulty: All Star
                    AI Sliders: Pro
                    Cursor size: Very Small
                    Pitching Speed: Very Fast
                    Variable Pitching: High
                    Auto-Field Lock: Off
                    Strikezone: Off for both
                    Swing Feedback: Off
                    Pitching Cursor: Off
                    Pitch Preview: Off

I pitch in the behind the pitcher view

Every other home series I bat in the behind the pitcher view

                    Batting camera: Low

Some of the things that I do:

With two strikes, I never swing with Power unless I feel that it's crucial for me to.

Almost half of the time, I will take until I get a strike.

I tend to play my alternates a lot (check out their stats).

I don't steal too much, and I actually don't have that stealing problem that everybody has (check out my stats).

When I'm on defense, for fast guys, I move in with everybody (sometimes it works, sometimes they find a hole and it gets to the wall).

I try to hit corners while pitching (more than half of the time).

Hope that most of that helps.

BTW, I have the PS2 version if that changes everything.
