Well, I honestly don't see a reasoning for this thread to get locked. This thread was meant for this guy to know what was wrong with them saying that every stadium beign revamped, as SafeCo field didn't appear touched to him.

It was a very excusable and reasonable question that needed answering, IMO.

I didn't mean to say this won't get locked, I meant to say this SHOULDN'T get locked. My bad there.

Heh, I'm used to it.

But I think I answered the question as to what they meant as revamped, because they said that they had revamped EVERY stadium, so I'm guessing that those new things are what they are talking about.

For some Mariners fans, I can see the roof being closed as a game killer. That's what stopped me from being a franchise with them last year.

I have a concern though as to whether they fixed some of PNC Park... mainly the bridge. Now I know that that may sound bad that I'm complaining about the bridge, but that's where the beauty of the park comes... it's a nice gold color, it's not a pale yellow with some light and dark spots. Again, no franchise-killer, but it would make it look that much better.

No, it wasn't a "dome" per se... you see, SafeCo Field is one of the new stadiums with the retractible roof, and while it covers the top (from rain, which it tends to rain a lot in Seattle), it doesn't stop wind from coming in or stuff, because they don't have glass supporters like Minute Maid, that's probably why you can't tell, unless you see a homerun with the cutscene, or if you go into manual replay. There are also those structural supporters that aren't there if the roof is open, so those are rather obvious.

It would be much better if SafeCo was open though... letting the light through and whatnot, and it just would look... better. Don't know why they don't make it open now.
