Re: Behind Pitcher Cam

This is great news! I am now curious if they have added more player models. Last year's version had all player thin or in shape. There were no big guys or skinny models. I hope they have added some new models and kept the fictional players option. This could be a great game!

Also, it wouldn't hurt if they limit the amount of times I can steal base.

      Re: Behind Pitcher Cam

The behind the pitcher cam in the demo is useless because it's not actually behind the pitcher. It's behind the pitcher and over too far to the right. Useless. Hopefully it's not like this in the real game.

Well you already made your decision based on a demo that isn't even comparable to the final game so why do you care?

i wouldnt go far as to say it is useless. but considering i played about 100 WSB2k3 games last year with this exact BTP camera angle i feel that it is just a little bit too off-centered and too close to the pitcher. and being too off-centered is what makes it seem unplayable to some because of the flight of the ball when it is pitched. mvp's BTP which is also exactly the same as last year is ironically too far from the batter, and therefore unplayable to some because of the miniture looking strikezone. now ASB's BTP camera has really impressed me. its really like a cross between espn & mvp's. and its a bit more centered than espn and its not too far, its not too close. if you draw a line from the top of the pitcher's hat to the top of the batter's hat, they will be almost even with eachother like espn. this is the problem thats plaguing mvp's camera. draw a line from the top of the pitcher to the top of the batter and you'll notice how low the camera is placed. what mvp's BTP cam has over the others though is its excellent catcher animation. now i wont go ahead and declare ASB's BTP my clear favorite this year though because like i said in another post, the early camera switch when the ball is hit worries me.
