I'm enjoying the demo personally. The swing animations and faces could use some serious work though. Gameplay seemed pretty damn solid for an early demo, field textures were awesome, and the controls were good.

Maybe I missed it, but is there no way to turn on a cursor for pitching so I can see where I'm aiming my pitches?

I'll rent the final version and see if I'll be buying it along with MVP. Never played 2K3, but I enjoyed the first one on Xbox.

The demo isn't terrible, but it's not indicative of a really good game either. The player animations and faces are downright bad most of the time. Yes, you can have a pitching cursor, but it's set to OFF in the demo, and its one of the options you can't toggle in the demo.

BUT you can set it in the final version, so it doesn't really matter what the demo has or not, as long as it's available in the final version.

I get what you're saying though.

I'm hoping that many faces will either be different or fixed, because FP said that while they have 400+ faces, they are all pretty damn good this year.

IMO, all of the animations are good... I don't like how they go from one to another though, because there's no momentum or whatever, you can do an instant 180 without ANY turning, stuff like that. Also, you have to complete an animation before doing another, so like, in that Red Sox vs Yankees vid on that ground ball, when the 2nd baseman got up after diving for the ground ball, he still had to finish his animation by stumbling forward, and THEN you could control him, and it looked weird, again, to see the 180 thing. I'm glad they got rid of most of those herky-jerky animations though.
