What is the difference between GM Mode and regular franchise mode?

the franchise mode is one that you take a single team through an unlimited amount of seasons..

GM mode is a 30- year mode where you are the GM for the team - the owner sets goals that you must achieve in a set time, that if you dont you could lose your job..

I too just traded in MVP for ESPN. I really loved the gorgeous graphics that MVP provided but I just couldn't stand the flaws anymore. I had WSB last year and am more than happy that this year's game is a beefed up version of that game.

I just made the MVP for ESPN trade as well - yesterday, in fact. I just wasn't playing MVP - it just didn't hold my attention.

So - we shall see....

I played every game in an entire season with WSB2K3 last year though. So - I am hoping that it will hold my attention.

If you liked WSB 2k3, then you'll love ESPN 2k4. It's basically the same game with gameplay issues fixed.
