i was so frustrated with having to manually adjust my roster before every game that i tried an experiment. the problem started after sexson got hurt & ichiro was put in the 5 spot and i could not move him back to lead off in the main menu. i got the 'invalid roster' screen.
i had heard that the xbox roster fixed a lot of problems, but having the ps2 i was out of luck.
so first, i tried the whole made up player league but i had three minor leaguers with 100 ratings so i didnt want to go that route.
next, i adjust the name of one minor leaguer who looked made up and saved it.
after playing and simming past the amount of games in my first franchise, i am happy to say i do not have the roster issues. i can change players in the lineup page and it does not give me the 'invalid roster' pop up.
i am now going to check if this fixes stat issues.
