Do you not use Batter's Eye in these? Because I see no slider for the frequency of it.

I believe batters eye was 20 when uploaded to 2k share. Will double check later tonight

Does strike zone need to be on in order for the batters eye to work?

I never see it... I dont' want it alot but maybe once in awhile.

Also, I think the throwing error freq is too high. I had the CPU throw wide of first two plays in a row.

Other than that, I think it plays out quite well (This is on PC)

I'm not sure if the batter eye reveals itself if the strike zone is OFF. You definitely see it with the strike zone ON.

If your seeing too many errors, lower that slider to your liking.

Joe, I believe if you have the strike zone off and Batter's Eye ON... the eye is a little black circle that is moved around with the Left Analog stick. If you guess the correct location of the pitch, the ball will flash a certain color before it reaches the plate. Don't know the color codes off the top of my head though.

This is correct. Personally I don't use the Batter Eye feature.

Do you use it? If so how well is it implemented

                Joe,

Can these sliders be used with classic hitting?

I would say go for it

as for implementation, its no MVP 2005 but it does what its supposed to I guess. I dont' mind having it on 20% of the time... it gives me the impression that I'm looking for a particular pitch and being correct every now and then.
The rest of the time, I'm trying to read the pitch as it comes.

I was mainly meaning the hitting settings. So when using classic hitting power and contact are both tied together when pressing x? I dont see a power button on classic.

                          Joe-
Did you turn the CPU contact down to 35? What prompted that? The power makes sense to me, but with the contact at 35 I'm seeing too many strikeouts. I just had Randy Wells throw a 15 K game with the contact set there. I'm toying between 40 and 45 to see the difference. I like 45 right now, but occasionally there are too many hits. But it does make me work the strike zone a little more.
But these sliders are great. Every game is competitive and getting really good numbers for the most part.

35 seems like a good #. If your not making enough contact, try dropping AI Pitch Success incrementally until your getting the results your looking for

I use classic hitting w/ these sliders. I've been hitting a really fair number of knocks with them so far. In my franchise, I'm #5 in team HRs.

No, I think you misunderstood. I use (human) 35 and that's fine, but you have the CPU using 35 too. It's the CPU who is striking out too much. That's why I was wondering if the CPU should be higher on the contact setting. So if the CPU is striking out too much at 35 would you turn that up or do something with human pitching to balance it out? Sorry if I wasn't clear.
