How many WS have we seen where the teams faced each other in the regular season since the Interleague? I can only think of one. (NYY vs NYM) So again it's not that huge of a deal.

I believe the Yankees-Braves met in interleague and in the WS in '99.

I don't like inter-league play, though I'm one of the minorities here that like the DH rule in the AL.

Because its not REAL baseball.

Watching David Ortiz hit instead of Curt Schilling is a lot more "real" to me. I'm not going to hijack this thread with my pro-DH rants though.

I dont like it. The Cubs-White Sox series arent even as compelling anymore. I dont think its fair that some teams get to play the Royals every year where other teams have to play teams with larger payrolls due to geography. I wish they would get rid of it.


Oh and if there was no DH, Ortiz would play first and you wouldnt see Millar batting. If you dont like NL ball because the pitcher is a wasted at bat, then perhaps you should be in favor of having a designated runner for every slow first baseman...or having a fielding lineup and a seperate batting lineup? That makes as much sense.

Interleague series is great especially as of late when the teams are playing other divisions in the other league. You get see them play teams they never or rarely play. Its great IMO.

there are some really good hitting pitchers out there i think you just need to watch the game more and in the national league there are so many more strategies and moves the manager has to make. it is by far a better game than that offensively overpowered american league, but then again i would rather watch a pitching duel where everything you do is important bunting to advance the runner, etc.

I like it, but I liked it better when rivals only played each other once a year. Six games between the Cubs-Sox is too many.
