I would hope they would they have probably played 50 or more games in the playoffs the Wright and Reyes. I would take Arod over Wright and I would take Reyes over Jeter so to break my tie I will take the younger team that I think will win more championships together. Which is Wright and Reyes those two could very easily have 3 or 4 championships before it's all said and done. Because you know the mets front office aren't going to let those two go anywhere.

and what has A-Rod done in the post-season as a Yank?? oh, other than slapping balls out of people's mits & leaving plenty of people on base to fill a cruise ship, NOT MUCH.... oh wait- he could be a new source of energy with all that air he makes when he K's..Comment

Carried the team through the 2004 ALDS, and was great in the first 4 games vs. Boston that year. If Mariano Rivera gets the save in game 4, A-Rod is most likely the MVP of that series.
He hasn't played well in the last 2 series, but he has been big in the postseason before.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Matsui would have won the MVP if the Yankees had one the ALCS that year. He only hit .550 in the first four games. ARod went 1 for 5 in Game 4, which was the start of a 2 for 17 slide.
Now and for the future, I'll take Cabrera and Ramirez. Cabrera has shown he can hit for power and average while Ramirez has demonstrated he can run the bases just as well as anybody and should develop more power than Reyes.Comment

That 1 hit was a 2 run homerun.
Your right, it probably would have been Matsui, but that doesn't change the fact that A-Rod has had postseason success as a Yankee.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment
