I played it on all-star. I had played two complete games on veteran with the 3d cursor and normal pitching and was just crushing the computer. I won the first game 12-6 as the mets against the cubs and the second i won 17-2 as the braves against the red sox. In the second game all of my starters had a hit but one and 4 players had 3 or more hits. Both Andru and Chipper Jones had 2 homers also. I was about to come on here and say how easy the game was until i decided to play one more game.
I bumped it up to all-star with the same defalt settings and picked to be the Dodgers against the D-Backs. What a shock i was in for. Randy Johnson was simply UNHITTABLE. I only could bear to play 4 innings before deciding that i was going to get the game for sure (i was playing my roomate's copy). In 4 innings i could only manage 1 BB, 1 Sac bunt (after the walk), 1 ball put in play (a weak grounder to 3rd), and 1 foul ball. I struck out 11 times in 4 innings. This game CAN be challenging and i look forward to the great matchups i will have in the future against the CPU.
Then my roomie and i decided to play against each other. I choose the Phillies to go against his Braves. It was a classic in which Abreu hit a pair of homers and i had to hold off a late inning charge by him ot hold on for a 11-8 win. I LOVE THIS GAME.
