Yeah, the Indians away alternate (vest with the "I" cap) should be their home alternate. The home alternate in the game (vest with Wahoo cap) does not exist. The away alternate should be the blue top with the solid blue caps, which amazingly appear to be nonexistent in this game. Also, why is it that there are negro league helmets but not throwback helmets?

Looks like they didn't polish the throwback and alterate jersey details. I like the game but Acclaim has lost all credability. I asked PJ the producer several questions during a chat a few months ago and he aswered yes to several things that I asked would be in the game and I guess, "they didn't make in." Again, good game but if you can't get the throwbacks and alternates right don't advertise for it.Comment

Re: How can you change your Uniform in Franchise .
I asked if the batter walk-up music would be independant of the announcers so you wouldn't have to listen to the announcers to hear the music. PJ said you could hear the walk up music and turn the announcers off. Not true. They advertised some many throwbacks and alternates for each team and apparently some don't work. I know the Tigers don't have two of theirs. That is when you select them from the change uniform screen they don't give them to you when the game starts. PJ said in the OS interview that throw backs could be used in reagular season (franchise) games, but thats not true unless you use the trick discoved in one of the threads in this forum. They advertised fielder idle animations but only the SS or 2B does this after they cut off a ball from the outfield. Most of their 80 features are exaggerated or overlap. They added only about 10 new features. Its a good game, they shouldn't have to exagerate to make a sale. I'm not griping or trying to deter anyone from enjoying it I'm simply saying I think some other companies keep their word a little more.Comment

Re: How can you change your Uniform in Franchise .
I noticed that they said the crowd would change, like Montreal would get bad crowds and rainy days wouldn't draw, but it's always a sell out, but that's ok cause every other game does that. I remember a game for N64 either ASB or Griffey where people left during the game if their teams was getting killed, that was real cool. You can see it walking up the isle.Comment

I forgot to mention this earlier, but their website advertised changeing crowds with city and weather. Anyone reading this automatically assumes empty stands in some cities and rainy days but PJ said in the chat that this simply means the crowds were the colors of certain teams. Again, not horrible but very misleading. I feel they felt the threat of all of these other games making strong efforst and felt the need to mislead there consumers to compete. Again, its a good game, I'm saying they didn't need to lie to sale it.Comment
