    Yep this is what I feared. Went to pick up replacement copy. Tested the game at the store for a few minutes. Looked fine. Come home played it for about 30 minutes and BAM! same damn problem.





    It can't be my Xbox because my other games (and I have a few) are working fine. It has to be a bad batch that went out.

    Dissapointed to say the least.

        I think allot of it comes from EA not knowing there way around the Xbox harddrive. This same problem has happened in a few of there games.

                I would like to thank EA for making my baseball decision for me. Tonight I got the dirty disk error, so I'm taking MVP back. It's a damn shame too since I was enjoying the game. Oh well, this happens on all EA sports games for my xbox and I don't have the money to replace it.

                If anybody has any suggestions besides the ones mentioned here(Done these and it fixes for a few but the problem comes back) please suggest them.

                        This has to be more than a coincedence. I have had the same error message, but it only happens on EA games. I had w/ Madden, NCAA Football and now MVP. I'll try the fixes you guys mentioned if necessary get a new disc, but it would be a shame if the only reason I get WSB is because MVP doesn't work on my XBOX

                                Getting a new disk wont help, EA Games for whatever reason can become corrupt pretty quickly on the Xbox. It can happen I take it from ejecting the disk in mid game or any other number of reasons they have listed.

                                Since doing the above (deleting my saves) it is working fine. My friend says that you can transfer the saves to a memory card, then delete and then load of the card and resave to the drive.

                                        I know many people, myself included, who had the same problem with Inside Drive which is a Microsoft game.

                                        I'm tellin you it has to do with the XBOX.

                                        None of the advice on how to run the game or use your XBOX will work b/c somethin is already wrong with the XBOX.

                                                I've had an Xbox since launch, and have yet to have a freeze problem... I have Inside Drive 2003, EA's NCAA Football 2003, and many other sports/racing/FPS titles...

                                                        Then please tell my why my other games work fine? I'm pretty sure it's the way the game accesses your HD and saves information on it. For some reason it corrupts the save file. Try deleting the save information and start over again. This should do the trick. If not then I recommend you get a replacement and try it over again. Make sure when you get a replacement you delete the old game information.
