praise the lord you dont have to deal with guys like tomko, simotachhi and stephenson as your 3,4,5!

i think tonight tomko gave up like 9 runs in 2 innings.

No kidding those guys have been stinking it up for the Cards. No one there's more attendance at Williams/Morris games. Hopefully we can have Carpenter pitching well before the September.

You guys are talking about only 4th/5th starters, but that's not their only problem. One, the Mariners outdo them in every category. Second, their sluggers are doing little, and it's been up to up and comer Byrnes to carry the team. Then, you've got Mulder who's been rattled his last three times out, and Zito has been getting hit hard this year. I guess the only really good thing going on with the team is that they didn't give Tejada that huge contract...

Second, their sluggers are doing little, and it's been up to up and comer Byrnes to carry the team.
