Last 15 games or whatever he's batting .360 with 6 homers or somethin like that. His BA jumped from like .211 to .236, he's starting to catch on. Soriano K'in is nothing new, Jeter is a problem though. He just looks clueless up there with no patience. They REALLY need to fire Downs, the hitting coach.

The Bosox will block that trade for Urbina... they will either get him back first or they must get someone just as good.

I don't think the Bosox will let that happen.

what the yankees is missing is Paul O'neil and Tino Martinez.... leadership

I'm surprised I don't see the name Bernie Williams anywhere in here... the Yanks have gone in a nose-dive since Bernie went down with that knee injury, they've missed him twice as much as they missed Jeter. I think they should rethink who wears that C.

Well said. I think Bernie deserves to be captain, regardless of what people say about him being too quiet. His presence on the field is enough and he's been on the Yankees the longest. Its time that he gets the respect he deserves.

Sox are powerless to block any deal now. After the July 31st deadline, then they can block it.
