Re: What position did you/do you play?
Primarily played Catcher in HS, with a few innings of RF or LF in there.
Now that I am out of baseball, and in softball, I play the corners...3B and 1B. 1B I am better at, and like better, but 3B is ok too. Had to move because I screwed up my throwing shoulder, so catching was out for a while.
Went through some rehab for my shoulder, and if I can get back into a baseball league (adult/men's), I would try catching again.Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a ttoal jmulbe and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe.

Re: What position did you/do you play?
When I played t-ball we rotated the positions but I always liked playing catcher as I didn't have to do anything. On my school team I always liked playing outfield because there was a lot of action and was fun to play. I miss those days. The only reason why I started playing in the outfield was because all the other starting positions were taken and I had a better shot starting let alone make the team in the outfield. That year when I was on the team, I never sat out an inning as no one wanted to play outfield.

In Little League I played SS and 3B. HS I played CF/P because I had a good arm and good speed and in college I permanently moved to P. 92 MPH (clocked by a scout in American Legion) with a nasty curve and decent slider. Just couldn't get a good changeup down...

You could throw 92 mph at how old?
And you weren't drafted?
Changeups can be coached...Comment
