Try and trade Patterson now. Before he goes on the DL and everyone finds out he is done. Even if you get a less caliber player, its better than nothing.

Also, start making OF offers to teams who have Patterson.

I have him in my league and I will just drop him. I think it's pretty lousy to try to trade to someone who might not know he's out for the year...IMO, that's just a little underhanded. I'm just going to dump him and let someone from my bench take his spot.

I had him on everyone of my fantasy teams, just dropped him. Basically anyone who checks their team enough to get a trade through would know he was out.
