      the wrist rollers are a great exercise! and really improve bat speed and throwing velocity.
      another thing that alot of guys don't think to do is simply swinging the bat.
      I take a broomstick, a little leaguer bat, a 30 oz bat, and a 32 oz bat. Do 20 swings with each then after you get to the heaviest bat start adding doughnuts.
      another good thing to do is cut a hole in an old aluminum bat and fill it with sand.
      Those 'hit away's' are awesome too. They really make you concentrate on hitting to the opposite field, which is the key to good hitting.
