He'll stay with the 'spos. I don't think that Vlad would want to go to a market where he'll be the centre of attention like in Baltimore. There'll be too much pressure for him to perform. Another factor is that Vlad has ALWAYS been a NL guy and there have been tons of guys who switch leagues and never have the same kind of performance/impact that they once did.

Re: Congrats to Vlad Guerrero
Yeah, I read that he really doesn't like the spotlight, and I'd imagine going to Baltimore, where he's supposed to save the franchise, is not going to be conducive to that
I think he'd like to go to a franchise where he's not the biggest star, or at least one among a few, and with hands-off media. Maybe St. Louis? San Francisco? Maybe Atlanta if they don't re-sign Sheffield?Comment

Re: Congrats to Vlad Guerrero
The only teams that can afford Guerrero are the Cubs, Yankees, Orioles, and maybe possibly the Braves if they don't resign Maddux, Sheffield, and Lopez.Comment

Wow, can you imagine how good the Yankees or the Cubs are going to be if they get him? Imagine Jason Giambi and Vladimir Guerroro or even more powerful, Sammy Sosa and Vladimir Guerroro. Those are some scary 3 and 4 spots.Comment
