Re: Is there anything more obnoxious in baseball...
my favourite memory regarding the tomahawk chop/chant.
1992 WS Jays are rallying at home, Kelly Gruber scores and he taunts the Braves players by doing a chop right as he's scoring.
if i were on the braves i would have jumped outta the dugout with a bat and beat the living sh** 'tomahawk style' out of him.

Re: Is there anything more obnoxious in baseball...
The thing I hate about the chop/chant, is that it started in '91 which was the first year of the Braves choke run. Prior to that the Braves didn't have any fans (very few) now they don't even sellout playoff games, okay, my point is
The chop/chant is a cheape alternate version of the wave created by fans who aren't even really baseball fans.
#2 most annoying thing- Sosa's "I just hit a fly ball" hop.Comment

Don't go to a Jays game then....I swear most of the people that go to Jays games are either corporate folks on cell phones or people who can't make noise because the stupid idiots that run Skydome don't like fans cheering and going wild.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
