And Inge would usually do that right after looking at a fastball that went straight down the middle, which baffled me. He just looked lost at the plate at least 95% of his plate appearances. I appreciate the things he was able to contribute to the Tigers during his career, but gooooood riddance.

Buster Olney says Beltran trade talks are down to five teams: Red Sox, Giants, Phillies, Braves, and Rangers:
The Indians and Pirates are "basically out of the picture".
Earlier today, Jon Heyman of SI.com said that the Giants, Phillies, and Braves appearing to be leaders in the sweepstakes:

B.J. Upton and Desmond Jennings were pulled from their respective games, is a trade on the way?

No surprise here/// FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports that the Cardinals are "not looking to move" Colby Rasmus but "will listen" in an effort to explore "every possible way to improve."
ESPN New York's Adam Rubin reports that the Rangers have "zeroed in on" Heath Bell and Carlos Beltran as their primary targets at the trade deadline.
