Actually Inge's specialty was always the pathetic flailing swing at the breaking ball tailing out of the zone.

And Inge would usually do that right after looking at a fastball that went straight down the middle, which baffled me. He just looked lost at the plate at least 95% of his plate appearances. I appreciate the things he was able to contribute to the Tigers during his career, but gooooood riddance.

Peter Gammons said yesterday on MLB Network that he believes the Sox will probably look at Ryan Ludwick or Josh Willingham over Beltran because the Mets asking price is so steep and the team does not want to include Jose Iglasias in any trade.

I think it may come down to the Giants and Phillies.
