Um, no... that doesn't fly. I'd take the Sox ability to hit over that short list of dinosaurs you've got there. The Red Sox are due to put up some runs. There will be some high scoring slug-fests in this series. Too bad the Sox can't clone Lowe and use him to start and close.

Pettite - 21 wins, Moose - 17 wins, Clemens - 17 wins, Wells - 15 wins. They Yankees starters will be able to go 6 or seven, even 8 on good days. Then they have Heredia, White, Contreras, Nelson(although hasnt been great), and of course Rivera. I would be very worried if my team had to face the Yankees pitching staff. And no matter how your bullpen is coming together. They are strained and will be very exhausted by game 3. Your starters wont be able to hold the yanks for long and you tired bullpen wont be able to close games. There are just too many hitters on the Yankees. Soriano, Jeter, Giambi, Williams, Posada...I could list everyone on their team that will probably give you trouble in this sereis.

Will be a good series and winner wins World Series.

Sorry Cub fans. I would have loved to see Sammy win one too.

I'm not going to bother getting into a debate with someone who lists wins as their sole means of proof that a pitcher is dominant-- much less wins for a team with the largest payroll in baseball history.

All I know is that if we don't win, all hell is going to break loose. Both on the street of Boston, in NY(not riots, but BoSox fans sticking it to us}, and in our off-season.
                              Yanks in 7..please.
