Since people have said that Dusty has made bad decisions, how about Torre. Boone didn't do squat offensively but he was sure-handed defensively.

I dunno, I think it's one of those calls that if it works out well, people praise you, but if it doesn't they say, "what the hell were you thinking?"

The chance of Wilson getting an error that led to a run was probably a lot less than Wilson getting a hit.

This game is over, a 4-0 lead with Pedro on the hill is money.
How fitting is it that Clemens loses his last career game against the Red Sox with a world series berth on the line.
      Go Sox!

I wouldn't say the game is over yet. Boston's pen could still do one of their famous implosions.

But if Yanks lose today, is Torre going to get canned? Georgie might find losing the series to boston after being up 3-2 to be unforgivable...

How f*cking cocky can you get!? Gloat after the 9th, but for now there is still a whole lot of ball left to play. Great Standing O for Roger now. If it is his last game...its been a great career. Now if our pitiful hitters would get going then we still have a chance.

According to George, no. He was asked "will Torre get canned if he doesn't win the WS". George said no. Take it for what it's worth though...

Games FAR from over, but the Sox are playing real well right now.
