Haha, I like how Yankees fans get so defensive. It must kill you deep inside to know that your team choked in the LCS against your hated rival. Going home for games 6 and 7 with Pettitte, perhaps the most clutch playoff pitcher in a long time, and the HOF bound Clemens. I bet you thought it was a lock. I like neither the Sox or the Yanks but mark my words, the Red Sox will win this game. Curse of the bambino no more.

Re: Yankees/Red Sox Game 7 Thread

Where's the stupidity in my posts? Other than claiming that the Red Sox will win this game, I am merely stating facts. The Yankees still do have a shot, but it's definitely not looking good. Other than that homerun, their offense has generated no threat. Matsui doubled, but that was with two outs. They had two men on in the first, but with two outs. They need a leadoff man to get on. Force Martinez to do something stupid like he did in game 3 when he intentionally hit Garcia with two men on and nobody out.

They Yankees to this point, seem to have no life in them.

Ok, Ok I will keep my mouth shut about this. I just don't like Steinbrenner. Maybe it's because I am a Phillie fan and we never want to spend any money on a winning team.

I can't believe Jeff Nelson is warming up. Torre can't possibly be thinking about putting him in. He's been horrendous since they reacquired him.
