    Re: Bonds in trouble?

Bonds and Giambi aren't the subjects of the investigation. They are being questioned as part of an investigation. Whether or not this company is distributing the new steroids is what is in question. If it were to be found that the company is, then Bonds, Giambi and any other players would have to test positive for that steroid (or any masking agents) to be in any trouble.

Some of you people are so ignorant.

Bonds is being called as a WITNESS.

He is not a "suspect" or a "target".

Oh yeah, and when I read that some of you hope he gets hung up even though you have nary a shred of evidence against him I weep for the human race.

I dunno man it's not out and out steroids and also may I add that steroids does nothing to a baseball player offensively as it builds up musculature and such. That's something that would SLOW down the swing, not speed it up.

I like how everyone blithely ignores this. If you've ever bothered to watch Bonds, he's got a blazing quick bat. If you turn around and look at, say, Ken Caminiti in his MVP '96 year, he was just big, not quick. I'm not saying he didn't use some sort of enhancer -- I don't think he has -- but I think hand/eye coordination has much more to do with why he's as good as he is than pure strength.
