      Re: Tejada an O

      From Rotoworld.com
Orioles signed shortstop Miguel Tejada, who had been with the Athletics, to a six-year contract.
According to ESPN, the deal is worth $54 million and contains another $11 million in incentives. However, the AP is reporing that it's a $72 million contract. The Tejada signing doesn't eliminate the possibility of Vladimir Guerrero joining the Orioles, but it does make it less likely. The Dodgers, Mariners and possibly the Marlins may now choose to pursue Vladi. The Orioles are still expected to sign either Ivan Rodriguez (probably) or Javy Lopez (less likely). They'll probably look to trade either Jerry Hairston Jr. or Brian Roberts, with the Red Sox, Indians, White Sox and Cardinals among the possible suitors.

doubtful that will happen... at least i hope I'd rather get rid of hairston than roberts, but if we can get decent pitching for either, i'd make the trade.

Hairiston was a potential all-star before the injury. He finally laid off the high pitches/long ball attempts and used his speed to get on the bases and wreak havoc on them. I'd much rather have Hairiston.
