Looks like the Wild Card ain't coming out of the East after all. 2 Great teams. 2 good teams.

That makes no sense....if there are 2 great teams than odds are that the 2 great teams will come from the East. I think in some ways that the West has gotten a bit weaker while the Central has gotten maybe slightly stronger.

BTW last season where did the WC come from? THE EAST

Thank you have a nice day.

Logically his arguement makes more sense than yours does and here's why.... If there are 4 teams that have the talent to be good or great the chance of a team pulling away is slim. While the 4 teams beat up on each other their records all start to weaken, thus letting a weaker team from a different divison to sweep in and win the wild card while only the division winner picks up the spot out of the east.

      <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

Ahhhh, beat me to it. I was gonna say the same exact thing until I scrolled down the page and saw yours.

I actually found it pretty humorous that you called him on that, since he was so sarcastic in his rebuttal.

Ah well that is true but remember the situation was similar with the AL West a couple or so years ago and 2 AL west teams were in the playoffs. (A's and Angels in '02) but yes the common logic dictates that only one team would make it out there.

BTW I was being sarcastic and wasn't trying to be rude tho I guess I came across as rude so my apologies. I'm just a little testy I WANT MY JAYS IN THE PLAYOFFS!
