In case anyone missed it, I thought I'd throw this out concerning HH:

"According to Reuters, 3DO picked up only $4.6 million in the auction, & Microsoft may be paying more in the future. The XBOX creator's right only extend to the HH Engine, & do not encompass any MLB League or player assoc rights. Apparently, even if Microsoft adopted the HH moniker or applied it's engine to the Co's already-existing IP franchise, new licences would be needed."

With this statement any hope for a HH/IP merge is almost impossible for this year...

ASB looks like EASILY the most detailed, realistic baseball game this season. I mean, Jebus, the ivy slowly grew in over the course of the season at Wrigley in ASB last year... now the game's even MORE detailed. Plus every problem I had with last year's game has been addressed.

I'm guessing hardcore baseball fans will pick up ASB and arcade fans who are looking for a quick fix will pick up MVP or ESPN.

ASB looks like EASILY the most detailed, realistic baseball game this season. I mean, Jebus, the ivy slowly grew in over the course of the season at Wrigley in ASB last year... now the game's even MORE detailed. Plus every problem I had with last year's game has been addressed.

I'm guessing hardcore baseball fans will pick up ASB and arcade fans who are looking for a quick fix will pick up MVP or ESPN.

i will end up picking up ASB & MVP.. i enjoyed the ASB series & MVP, from what has been said, looks to have much deeper gameplay this year..

MLB 2005 sounds awsome, but I don't trust 989, so my hopes aren't high. If MLB is a let-down, then I have no clue as to which game to buy. I usually buy one game only to sell it and buy a different game, then find out the first game was better, sell my current game then buy the first game I had and so on. I did that last year, interchanging HH, ESPN, MVP, and ASB. I really have to learn to rent games.

Oh well, we'll see how it pans out this year.
