You didn't answer my question. What makes you think Vlad will go to New York?
You make it sound like all they have to do is make an offer.

Like the guy just said, New York was the best situation for him. Huge market, unlimited marketing possibilities..

Which he doesn't care about. He just doesn't give a damn about those things. He's not that type of player.

He didn't go to Anaheim becaues he likes Disney Land.

He might have. Vlad is like a little kid, he values things that are usually in association with young children - which is all alright. He plays his Gameboy in the locker room before each game to relax himself; Does this sound like a man who cares about bright lights of NY, or a man who can enjoy a funtime at Disney Land." I look at him and it's getting to the point where it's just scaring me. He looks younger but he doesn't carry himself in a younger manner. He's impressive, and I'm glad we drafted him. "

Re: The Mets are the dumbest team in all of sports
None of this really matters, because the Phillies are going to run away with the division next year.
If the Mets want to improve, they have to get better pitching all around. I think that the starting 8 that they put out in the field is good enough to win, but without a solid starting staff and a decent bullpen (Do they still have David Weathers as their go to 8th inning guy?), they aren't going anywhere. Braden Looper as your closer? Give me a break.Comment
