That's typical AI. If you guys were to land Maddux you wouldn't shut up about it for a week. Now that it looks like you won't, he's a six inning man. LOL!

What the hell are you talking about? Who the hell is going to get excited about Maddux for a week? I would have agreed if this was 10 years ago, but now that he's washed up? I'll pass. I seen him to many times last season, where after 60+ pitches, he called it a night.
Bk, yes, Jon Lieber definetely is a better investment. For a 5th guy, he won't cost as much, nor will he ask for his personal catcher and neither will he hand it off to the bullpen after 80 pitches. He can't possibly be worse than Maddux nor any other 5th starter.

I'm almost hoping the Yanks sign Maddux for 2 reasons...
1) get that yearly salary over 200,000,000 of course...
2) Just to see AI do a 180 and begin extolling the virtues of Greg Maddux for us...
Christ! He's Greg FRIGGIN Maddux... you'd love to have him in pinstripes. No matter how you spin it... he's still GREG FRIGGIN MADDUX!!... Drop the act.

I see many people are obsessed with the Yankees and their spendings. Some of whom claim they're haters. Heck, some are obsessed with me. I'm flattered. No, really!

Translation: DCE was right, AI would have flip flopped.
