I'm all for any kind of trade with seattle that involves pitching coming to texas.

I don't care if it's a ranger farmhand for a 6th grade pitcher. They just need pitching.

If it were Winn for Jr. straight up....I'd say you got a deal, but asking for anything more is suicide. Griffey is already too much of a risk. It's not like we've got McLemore to throw out there incase of injuries anymore, I think the Reds would be lucky to get that deal. If they did ask anything more it'd be suicide. As for Soriano....my question is WHY?! Sure we've got alot of pitching, some of which was obviously picked up for trade fodder, but we've got Boone. Who needs Soriano when you got Bret? I'm sure every M's fan will agree, WE'RE PERFECTLY HAPPY WITH BRET BOONE. We don't need no Yankees throwaway.

Okay that was a bit harsh....but hey....it's part of the rivalry....what would we do without it? How would it reflect upon Baseball if the Yankees WEREN'T constantly the "villians"? But yeah, I'm sure the M's will make some trades during this season. It's quite obvious they have a new plethora of young pitchers to "spend". I predict Jarvis will be gone by the end of the Season. I'd predict more, but I'd rather just say enough to not have to eat my own words.
