I hear this year MLB.TV is getting around the ESPN exclusive Wednesday / Sat thing and showing games 7 days a week.

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

MLB.TV was blacked out on Wednesday night last week...last year on EI they had the games on Wed. night, just not on Saturdays during the day. It would be nice if they got around the Sunday Night (ESPN)/Saturday (FOX)/Wednesday Night (ESPN) blackout policy.

So to confirm: All packages will not be showing games Wednesday nights, Saturday Days, or Sunday Nights? (I think there is only 1 sunday night game anyway, so thats irrelevant).

Correct, but the Saturday days doesn't start until Fox starts their Fox Saturday Baseball, which if I remember right, is a few weeks into the season. And I think when it does, they start scheduling games around it to avoid blackouts like Sunday nights(although I'm not sure on that).

Yeah, I think thats around June 1. At least thats when it was last year.

The no games on Sat policy afternoon is a real bummer. Its one of the times of the week that I can really sit down and enjoy a full game, other than the phillies.

Last year, when I had EI it was only Saturdays that were blacked out (might have been Sunday nights too, don't really remember). With MLB.TV I'm pretty sure that all three will be blacked out.

I seem to remember there being a couple of Saturday games (the day ones, I think). I didn't really notice an inordinate number of blackout games.
