My biggest concern is how Chipper will react to Furcal's 95mph sinkers to first.

And while Wise is a nice backup, I don't have much faith in him as a starter. I guess Marrero would probably see some time out there, too.

If we move Chipper to first, I definitely think Atlanta will go out and get an outfielder.

I actually like Wise in the outfield. He provides very good defense and speed, and hits the ball hard in most of his at bats. Sure, he didn't do too good last night, but everyone is going to have a bad game every once in awhile..

Don't get me wrong, I like Wise, but he's hitting .243. We can do better than that.

Yeah, but something that batting average doesn't reflect is how hard you hit the ball, and Wise nails it in most of his at bats. However, he has the worst luck of anybody, and often hits it right to people.. As long as he keeps hitting the ball hard, the hits will start falling, and that average will continue to go up.

Yeah, but it would take some time for Chipper to "re-learn" everything about the hot corner. After playing there for awhile in school ball myself, it's by far the hardest position I've ever played, because the balls get to you in such a hurry, and you have to make a clean read on the hops, etc..
