I chose Guillermo Mota, the Dodgers bullpen was not nearly as good after they traded him to Florida.

you don't appreciate what Akinori Otsuka and Scott Linebrink have done until you see the other bums in the Padres bullpen not named Trevor Hoffman. Those two did a great job when they weren't even expected to be setup men.

I agree with you that Linebrink and especially Otsuka were tremendous for the Padres this season, but i had to go with Mota and what he meant to the Dodgers bullpen, Gagne did not blow his first save untill after Mota was traded, and because his trade weakend the Dodger 'pen Gagne was forced to come in and try and get 4 and 5 out saves because the team had no setup man.

And now a question for YoungMel: why did you choose to put Scott Williamson on your list and not Mike Timlin?, Timlin is the Red Sox setup man for Keith Foulke, while Williamson missed half of the season.

Agreed with Mota, but that Yancy Brazoban guy stepped up, heck, it's as if the Dodgers' Bullpen didn't miss a beat.
