Man, when the Jays lose to Houston they lose BIG.

6 home runs for the Phillies today. Nice to see.

Jon Lester gave up 10 runs after 12 batters.

Maddon leaving him in there that long too?

man if last year was the perfect outcome for the rotation this is the opposite direction for the Cubs. everyone has lost 3-4 MPH on their fastball and everyone is giving up dingers. I still think Lester of all the guys in the rotation will be fine but what a disaster.

I thought the Cubs got clobbered today until I saw the Astros-Blue Jays score.

Today could very well be last time we see jays roster this way. AS break, you never know what deals come out of this.

But what a bad series. Astros outscored them 31-3 in their 2 wins

Braves could have and should have swept Washington but instead will have to settle for a split. Friday should have been a win for sure. Today's was easily winnable but bad bullpen, bad situational hitting and bad umpiring led to the loss. Oh well.

Today shouldn't have been a win, but the series definitely should have gone 3-1 in the Braves favor. I still don't understand how Jim Johnson was so terrible the other night.

Nice to see the Brewers take another series and on a winning note before the AS break.

Welp, kid went 8.1 innings. Not bad at all for the hometown hero.

Why don't the A's move Khris Davis from LF to 1B, or full time DH him? He is a huge liability in the OF. He probably has the weakest OF arm I have ever seen. Hell I bet Yadier Molina would get waved in on a hard hit ball right at him.

Has there ever been a no hitter at Coors?

Yes, Nomo's no-no was at Coors in 1996. The only Rockies pitcher to throw one (Ubaldo) did it at Turner Field.

That was really cool at the end of the game, letting Freeland hug the starters before the high fives.

Would've been the first player to throw a no-hitter for their hometown team.
