Yeah I can't disagree there. It is great for a UK fan to see how all of this is shaping up and the possibilities of landing (like Cousins) these awesome players. BUT...I feel bad for Memphis. I have never had anything against Memphis or their fans (mostly class acts) and I know it would frustrate me if I were in their shoes.

So as excited as I am, I can't fully enjoy it because I feel like we are pillaging Memphis.

So if Patterson and Meeks stay in school, how far will Kentucky go in the tournament?

          LOL..ouch.

I would say that if UK gets Wall then we are a favorite to win it all. If not, then depending on who they get at pg, then I would say between Elite 8 and Final Four. It is all going to be determined on chemistry and learning this system. But this team is going to be world's better than the past several years so I think we already will be a very good team if we don't add or lose anyone else.

Just send a check, don't care about the ethics of it or anything. Just go to the bank and have the teller type one up.

Honestly I could still see Wall going to Baylor. If he goes there, he will be the man. Just look at the success other players have had in the Big 12 recently, he could easily follow suit and still be the top draft pick when he leaves.

The thing with Wall is, no matter where he goes...literally anywhere, he will be a stud and will be one and done. So really, it probably doesn't matter as much to him as some recruits because he is THAT good. If it weren't for the new rule, he wouldn't even be considering college IMO.

Yeah, but he isn't going to be putting up 20 ppg if he goes to Kentucky, UNC, etc. He could do that and more if he chose to go to a school like Baylor.

Since he is going to be a one and done, I don't think he cares about winning a championship.

If he's good, he can get 20 points wherever he goes. But if he wants to be in a situation where he gets 20 shots w/no reprecussions, percentage be damned, then he's better off @ Baylor.

Don't feel bad for Memphis. When you lie down with snakes, you shouldn't be surprised to get bitten up. They had their fun. Now they can go back to being Memphis again.

Memphis will still be hovering around. Won't be the 4 year run we've had, but then again, this team won 13 NCAA Tourney games the last 4 years. Memphis will be a top 25 program once Pastner can get his foundation set.

If Wall goes to UNC he can average 20. They average like 90 a night so why not? Who wouldn't want to play in that fast-paced offense?

                                Wall could go pro?

                                From today's chat on ESPN....

Mike, FL: Is John Wall the No. 1 pick in 2010 Draft. He was awesome at the Hoop Summit game.

Chad Ford: He was awesome and he'll compete with Ed Davis and a few other freshmen for that. However, there is some buzz that Wall believes he might be eligible for THIS year's draft. I've been doing some digging and will be filing a story later today. The short rub is this: Wall is a 5th year senior and depending on how you read the collective bargaining agreement, 5th year seniors are eligible for the draft as long as the turn 19 in the calander year (Wall does). The league is taking a wait and see approach. If he declares, they'll research and make a ruling. If he does declare and is ruled eligible (two big ifs) he's a Top 5 pick in this draft. Maybe Top 3.
