I heard he's lost 30 - 40 lbs but he's still big. I'm guessing he probably weighs somewhere around 310 maybe. That's an estimate though. I was sitting about 30 rows from the court so I didn't see him up close. He didn't look like he was in very good shape though. He looked like he took a lot of plays off. He could have probably scored 30 points easily had he played a little more and a little harder. He was in some early foul trouble and then had trouble running the floor in transition.

Well, Walton was a verbal way before the rumors of Wall coming to Baylor heated up. I don't think it's going to matter much. Jerrells and Dugat both are seniors. So Wall could come in next year and start (not like he wouldn't)

Still don't know if he comes to Baylor. I just wish the NBA would adopt the NFL rule and make it three years out of high school. I hate seeing these one and dones. Baylor landing arguably the #1 player in the Nation would help a ton down the line though.

I know Gallon had some interest in Baylor, but I doubt he signs with the Bears.

No surprises in Chapel Hill. All who had verbally committed sent in their LOI's.

              Update on UConn's week...

Oriaki and Coombs, who committed to UConn has HS sophomores (not crazy about that) sent in their LOI's yesterday.

Oriakhi, a 6-foot-8, 225-pound center, is a 5-star recruit, according to Scout.com, and the No. 2 center in the Class of 2009 on Rivals.com. Coombs, a 6-foot-7, 185-pound forward, is rated as four stars by Scout and the 13th best small forward on Rivals.

UConn's focus, of course, remains on Rice High star Durand Scott, who will likely make a decision on UConn, Pitt or Miami before Nov. 19, the last day of the early signing period.
I don't have a good feeling about Scott. He eliminated Pitt, so it its down to us and Miami, but I have a feeling he's going to be a Cane.

ESPN Insider is reporting that Demarcus Cousins wants an escape clause created for him just in case Mike Davis leaves as head coach, he would then be able to leave the school.

                            He won't sign without it.
