    Re: 2011 Recruiting Discussion Thread

Sadly I think Teague will be headed to UofL as well. However, I think Kentucky will turn its attention to Anthony Wroten, Jr. Or, even a better case scenario, Knight stays 2 years and we won't need to recruit a point guard for 2011-2012.

All sorts of craziness today with Teague. This kid has changed his mind more often than his underwear from all I gather. Looks like it will come down to the wire with him but right now there is word it will be UL.

Would absoutely LOVE to have him, but he has been a "lock" for UL for so long I can't possibly be upset if he goes there. I am more than happy to know we have a coach that could actually make it take this long for him to commit.

Plus with Cal's track record with PG's, and the possibility that Knight stays his second year, I am not worried about it. But Teague is in a league of his own at the PG spot for the next few years. Great get for whomever lands him.

On a side note, I am not sure it matters much where he verbally commits to as I think he will still change his mind a couple more times before he steps foot on a campus. Hopefully not though, as I would rather see him make a decision and stick with it, whether be UK or UL.

I think you have a better chance of picking the winning lottery numbers than you do determining which school Teague is going to choose.

Recruiting just gets worse and worse with technology and the media these days. When cats like Doron Lamb are making announcements in the middle of a HS all-star game, SMH, just going too far.

Come on, ehh, if you are going to talk about Lamb making his announcement during the game then you should also mention selby . And what is SMH?

Selby is a little ridiculous as well but he's also a legit Top 10 prospect. Lamb is in the 20-35 range. Eventually it's going to get to a point where the HS all-star games will try to coordinate it so every unsigned AA to announce their decision mid-game to boost ratings.

And LOL @ fish, first I've seen that site. That thing is going to get abused on OS and rightfully so.

It certainly does look that way. It's just about impossible to recruit against the Cal - WWW - Lebron - Nike machine.
