Going into the tournament, the max they could get was 9.

Still getting a third of those teams in isn't bad.

After all the talk we hear about the Big East, I think its clear they have more quality teams than any other conference, but fewer national title level teams than the Big 12, Big 10, ACC, and SEC.



4 teams from the Big East got Sweet Sixteen seeds. 0-2 thus far.



The only 2 Sweet Sixteen seeds to lose so far in the entire tournament..

Both were fouls. If you call one you have to call the other. I'm glad Butler won because they were at least leading the game before the foul nonsense occurred. I would've felt horrible for Mack had Butler lost. Don't feel too bad for Pitt because the foul on Howard wouldn't have happened if Brown made the 2nd free throw(or if Mack didn't foul him). Regardless, the officials did what they get paid to do. This game was on the players.
