Both of those teams from Richmond also beat Purdue in Chicago, while VT lost to them in BlacksburgTwo (Richmond and VCU) Virginia teams will make the Sweet Sixteen now while the "traditional powers" Virginia Tech and Virginia sit at home (and VT lost today to Wichita State in the NIT). One thing great about college basketball is how the little guys can succeed, case in point Butler last year.

"I had five seconds before the kid turned and signaled a timeout," Cartmell said in a statement. "I had to make a decision whether it was five seconds or a timeout, and I made the decision it was five seconds because I had counted five seconds before he called timeout."Comment

This might explain why I've never heard of the rule.
Also this from John Adams via email on the inbounds-timeout rule: ``rule was changed over 20 years ago.''Comment

If Florida St. shoots like they are right now, the team that beats them will have definitely earned it.
Their suffocating defense is fun to watch.Comment

That rumor is wrong. There's no way Boeheim is going to tell Scoop to move on. He's our only true PG. Triche, Waiters, and Carter-Williams are all scorers. And believe me, it hurts so much to say because Scoop is honestly the most frustrating player I've ever personally watched. At any rate, he isn't what cost us this game. Triche getting hurt, and all of our big men getting in foul trouble is what killed us.NFL: Bills

FSU playing great on offense. This team struggles against teams that force turnovers. ND doesn't force many, so FSU is able to run the offense. FSU normally doesn't shoot it great, but they also don't shoot it bad. The offensive struggles come from turning the ball over so much. If they keep the turnovers around 12, they are very tough to beat.
FSU needs to continue with the improving play in the 2nd half like they have late in season.Comment

I like the UNC-Marquette match-up so much more than the UNC-Cuse. We've struggled so bad against the 2-3, plus Rick Jackson & Co. size would seriously bother our bigs. Against Marquette, we should have a huge advantage. Really looking forward to the game!Bengals

I saw FSU as a matchup problem for ND. I didn't see FSU shooting lights out though. I bet ND comes out furious in the 2nd half.SOS Madden League (PS4) | League Archives

We did ourselves in by having too many empty trips down the floor early but if you even breathe wrong on a KU player here down the stretch and we're getting fouls called.Favorite Teams:

Makes that anti-small school troll from earlier seem all the more laughable. Two (Richmond and VCU) Virginia teams will make the Sweet Sixteen now while the "traditional powers" Virginia Tech and Virginia sit at home (and VT lost today to Wichita State in the NIT).
