Wow. Did Butler really shoot just 18.8%? I wish there wasn't a stupid storm front pushing through to knock out power the entire game. I wanted to watch the game, damnit.

One Shining Moment did their best to try and make the Final game look exciting, but.. they couldn't. Not much footage they could've used outside of the Mack three at the buzzer.

That was Andrew Smith missing a 2 footer, causing the ball to fall on Sullinger's head which resulted in a foul.

Congrats Uconn what an amazing 11 game streak, rode you through that on my brackets and it paid off so I couldn't be more grateful since my paycheck recently was low lol.

Shame such an exciting streak couldn't end with a great game, but hats off to Uconn and Calhoun for coaching what seemed at first like a weak team in comparison to their others and winning it all.

I can't get over how bad a game this was, such a disappointing way to end the college basketball season

Congrats to UConn, of the two teams you absolutely deserved it more.

Especially after the rest of the tournament delivered. I still can't think of a worse offensive performance than Butler's tonight. It didn't really have anything to do with UConn playing great defense, Butler would just miss every single shot whether it was a lay up or a 15 footer.

I think we could have put together a team of OSers and shot better than them.

Butler was off, but our D was friggin insane tonight. Totally shut down the paint, I think Butler had two open looks the entire game from inside the arc. Challenged so many jumpers as well, shut down Howard. Controlled the defensive glass.

Yup your interior defense was amazing, set the tone for the entire game, Butler wasn't shooting well and you guys gave them absolutely nothing inside, pretty sad when you don't get your first points in the paint until 10 mins to play in the 2nd half.

That interior defense + bad shooting night outside (even most of their 2's were deep) = 18% shooting, ouch.

wahoo! Uconns D inside the three point line was absolutely dirty. Obviously not 18% good, but outside of a couple missed layups, Butler did not have a single good look. Howard especially got completely dominated. If both teams shoot like they normally do, Uconn still wins this game.

Now, while both teams did shoot bad, I can't help but think that the rims at this final 4 were just atrocious (lets not forget Kentucky and VCU both shot terrible in there games, and Uconn and Butler both struggled in thos games as well.

When I started really paying attention to each individual shot from the final 5 minutes in the first half through the rest of the game, I dont recall a single one hitting the rim above the cylinder and dropping in. If the shot wasn't a swish, the ONLY shots that hit the rim (including layups) that went in grazed it on the way down (aka virtually swishes). That is astounding to me. Not a SINGLE shot bounced in off the rim all night. I'd love for someone to rewatch the game and make an official count how many shots bounced in off the rim.

I mean, how many shots went in and out in the final 3 games? It felt like they were playing at an amusement park where the hoop is slightly smaller, so the only way to score is drill a perfect shot.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I've never seen 3 games with "unkinder" rims

Like I said earlier IMO this was the best tournament I ever watched, then it ends with the worst championship game I've ever seen.

UConn was by far the better team tonight, so disappointed in Butler, talk about not showing up, 18% shooting is just ridiculous.

                                What an embarrassing performance.
Yeah they really torched the nets with their own shooting performance. How about they just didn't suck as much as Butler did?

Disappointing performance by the Bulldogs. I really thought it was going to be their night. Not going to beat many teams if you can't but the ball in the hoop. They had plenty of good looks from the outside. Lots of in-and-out's. Great D by the Huskies down low. Caused problems for Howard and Smith the whole game. Congrats UConn.
