I will say I am not giving up a really high points in the paint but the type of points in the paint I am giving up are so unrealistic.

    • Block the CPU, CPU gets the ball for easy layup.
    • Double team baseline the CPU does some warp pass between multiple people or dump off pass. If they dont warp through me
    • Bump, bump, warp, slide off for a layup
    • bump, bump, stumble, dump off pass in heavy traffic.
    • Offensive rebounds when my guys are not jumping while clearly in position, or if I jump the other CPU teammate doesn't jump as the CPU just sticks their arm out for an "easy" rebound
    Wow they know before us?

Anyway i completely agree i might give up 50 now but those a lot of those are just unrealistic forced crap

Last night the Pistons scored 76 points in the paint against the Lakers in a 106-102 loss.

They scored 76 last night. He's obviously poking at everyone who is complaining about the paint scoring. No one is looking at a 82 game schedule or the strength of their own game. Everyone wants pre determined results so they can say the games a sim.

Yeah just realised he was talking about that last game. I'am actually downloading it right now. It's like a tradition for the pistons to score 80 pip against the Lakers.

The problem isn't how high the points in the paints are. It's how they get them. If I'am playing nba 2K14 cg against a good player no number of pip will ever be too low or too high. It will be the result of bad defense/great offense but against the CPU that's different because it forces a lot and gets rewarded.

              Re: points in the paint?

Posted this is in another thread, I think it applies here to this problem.

The alley oops and offensive rebounding are out of control, my two biggest issues with the game right now.

When the CPU wants an alley oop, it doesn't matter if there's a player in front of the receiving party, they'll slide out of the way and just get dunked on every single time.

In reality, there's no way in hell guys should just get bodied out of the way like that, or JUST STAND THERE and allow the alley oop pass right in front of there face.

This goes back to the CPU always wanting to get into the paint no matter what, and mostly getting it due to laser accurate zip passes, no matter what type of defense, or how many defenders are playing the correct position. It's filthy.

The rebounding speaks for itself, nothing else needs to be said. If these issues were resolved, we would solve a lot of the points in the paint issues as well.

I feel like cheating is the only way the CPU can realistically beat you or even keep the game close. Without these blatant cheats, every game would be a blowout in the human favor.

I was certain that with a new console, with better processing power and performance we would finally see AI that didn't need to cheat just to stay in it, I was very wrong.

                Re: points in the paint?

So last game I played with simulation sliders and adjusted help defesve to 50 up form the 35 it is set on before and I gave up 54 points and that is the lowest I have giving up now in six games. I will have to see if that was just a fluk or if that helps. I don't think we are looking for predetermion results at all its just in 5 games on pro simulation I have been giving up an average of 70 points in the paint and teams don't score 70 points in the paint that often. The 76 points the pistions scored in the paint agest the lakers yesterday was the most a team has scored in the paint in the nba this year. When game after game after game the cpu is scoring 60-78 points in the paint it is a problem and not realistic at all. I am not saying that ever game the cpu should be scoring 40 in the paint that is why it is an average because one game they may score 50 next game 30 next game 60 next game 25 ect.
