I'm confused, are you being forced to buy VC? I'm not. I haven't had any difficulty earning VC and adding it to my player by simply playing through MyCareer games. If that isn't enough and you NEED to be a 95 overall immediately then spend money I guess. 2K9 to 2K12 didn't have VC and nobody complained about having to work your way up with skill points earned from MC games.

There are other ways to get free VC as well, there is the companion app which will get you atleast 1000 VC a day everyday and codes have been posted on OS with rewards of 1,000 to 10,000 VC. I don't believe the whole "2K is forcing you to spend money on VC argument".

They messed up on the caps. No reason my athletic SF can't have a lockdown defender sig skill.

My GM is maxed out(all 70 attributes) and I have an 87 rated my player and I have spent more than I care to admit on gear. I have not spent one penny on VC. Not one. I don't get it.

I honestly don't mind the attribute caps where they are because I never max out my player anyway. But for someone who just likes to buy VC and max out everything, I imagine this can be annoying. Also for people that want to get a certain signature skill but can't because of the cap.
I just don't see how this one thing can make you decide to trade it in. You get plenty of VC each game so buying those attribute boosts doesn't seem like a big deal to me. I had 30,000 saved up just from mycareer and the 2k14 app so I don't see how some of you are saying the game forces you to buy VC. The only game mode that wants you to buy VC is MyTeam. And that game mode is trash lol.

            Agreed.

I admit, this game has had some issues, but the incessant whining and complaining about VC is shake head worthy. If you just play games and don't touch my player, you can have 30-40 K easily within no time.
