State your case, I mean were being constructive not disrespecting each other. Granted most issues with last year's game have been resolved but this year game has a handful so where's the trade off. My main gripe with the game is the collision detection and clipping, it's so bad. I mean players going through each other, hands thru heads, arms, and legs. I wish the animations weren't so heavy in this game. One thing I like about NBA Live is that on defense players stay with assigned men but in 2k the spacing is horrible, I know they brought Da Czar in but honestly I cannot tell he was actually involved. Those are my main gripes and I haven't touched legacy problems that others have mentioned.

Yeah...how about you guys who just signed up this MONTH lurk more....

We had a couple of OS vets that were active members of the forums. They had similar complaints like the rest of us and they are now part of the 2k team.

Why is LIVE being bought up?

In your feelings a bit? I brought up Live to help paint a picture of what I was seeing. No disrespect to anyone, I am being civil and so what that I signed up this month, this is why I am just signing up because their are people like you who try to bully or try to look down upon opinions different then your own but it's cool, if what you write helps you sleep at night then cool.

I brought it up because I think that as the years go on, the game will get better. And that will mean that 2K will have to keep being innovative so they don't use their fanbase to the live game. The post I quoted asked, "Is 2K going down the same path as Madden?" And that was my answer as to why I don't think 2K will go down the same path. Madden is the way it is because they are the only game that has the NFL license and fans have to buy that game if they want to use NFL teams. Where as NBA fans have 2 choices, Live or 2K.

Bully? It's a suggestion to just lurk and read up on what's going on....usually the ones who just joined are guys that were previously banned....and uh it's not my feelings that needs to be checked lol

I lurked these forums for a couple of years before mouthing off to the members.

That's what I was saying earlier.

It's not about being here longer than another member...but when you signed up within the last couple of months and talk about how involved 2k is in the community, someone who has been here will likely speak on it. If you have issue's with their interactions with other communities, you're better off voicing your concern there. We at OS have been fortunate enough to have a lot direct dialogue with the producers and have even influenced some changes with the game. Them not changing something you in particular have an issue now with doesn't mean they aren't listening. Same goes for this "more people need to speak up" idea. The older members have no issue voicing their concerns, most don't feel the need to do constantly.

I'd disagree with this a bit - the developers deserve a huge amount of the credit. No doubt competition helps and is welcome in any situation but 2K pushed the envelope when there was a Live around, and when there wasn't a Live around. The principle reason Madden is in the state it's in is Tiburon. Now that they appear to have more skilled guys there/better team/better focus, the game has shown improvement.

Love the responses, love the opinions, love the personal shots at me lol I made a video of my response which is on the front page.

Love the buzz and the enthusiasm, but I think a lot of y'all missed the original point!

My original question was IF WE DON'T GET ANOTHER PATCH THIS YEAR are you ok with that? You don't think that is a concern? Have we moved to a point where if things aren't fixed on the first major patch they won't be fixed at all? I said twice already and I guess I'll say it a 3rd time I still believe NBA 2K15 is the greatest sports simulation of all-time. But I can't deny that 2K has displayed some concerning behavior as of late...Take Care.

I find it funny that every year people say that years game is the best of all-time. 2k15 is not the best sports game of all-time in my opinion.

My brother I didn't say the best sports game of all-time, I said it is the greatest sports SIMULATION of all-time! Meaning AS A GAME it does the best job of representing it's sport in video game form. When I say sports simulation that takes so much more into consideration like commentary, crowd noise, atmosphere etc.

IMO NFL 2K5 was the greatest sports game of all-time. It was fun, and sim. (Paper football FTW)

Despite the unbelievable agenda against 2k in this thread, I do agree with them in being disappointed by the regression issue. However, I'm sure that it was probably an unpatchable issue, but still, an acknowledgment would be great.
