I've seen it with other defenders as well. They just lose the offensive player or forget who to cover. It's odd. I don't mind it rarely, but it's way to common during the game. On a positive note the overall defensive rotation is a lot better as well as the the pick and roll defense. Not perfect, but better.

Bigs going deep to baseline leaving offense for no good reason, that's happening a lot after the patch, it's definitely an issue!

Am i crazy or do we have the exact same problem after the patch ? Again i am seeing double teams only in Pick and Roll situations and some very soft doubles in the post. Still set to "manual" for the cpu as well.

Yeah I'm noticing the same thing. Mauro's fix is the way to go IMO, even post patch 3.

I get much better double team logic in the post, by setting the CPU and my team to AUTO before games.

With Mauro's find, you get random digs, hard doubles, random doubles, double teams of hot players, doubles on mismatches etc....Set to Manual post patch, i'm not seeing this same double team logic as it relates to post play.

I'm gonna use AUTO for both USER and CPU whenever I start a Myleague Season. I just wish i didn't have to set this before every game. 2K Should have these settings set to AUTO by defualt imo.

Again thanks to Mauro, this was a huge find.

I'm on PS4 and I've noticed lately the CPU not sending help and double teams as much anymore. Even with it set to manual and with Patch3 I was seeing them, but now lately I haven't been seeing it anymore. I wish there was a way to just set this to auto and keep that way by default instead having to pause the game and switch over to the CPU side and mess with coach options to get this to work.

You can change it to auto globally if you control all teams in your MyLeague.

Thanks, that's nice to know.

A way to make this change globally during season mode is all I really needed. I always control every team anyway, just so I can mirror the rosters IRL as player moves change in the NBA throughout the season.

Yeah I noticed that this is possible. I was talking in regards to quick games/NBA Today games. I wish 2K had this on auto by default for these games.

Maybe it's a ps4 thing bc I'm in a classic season with 95 bulls. And they are sending all kinds of different doubles and looks on default

Where do I do this? I started a myleague to test it out, but couldn't find where to do it for my team, much less any of the other teams.

I'm still having to switch controllers in game to fix.

I have to say I see doubles even hard doubles after patch 3.....I played some games and I like it @ default (MANUAL).....

But I'm gonna play some games patch 3 + doubles set to AUTO to see how the game feel....I had some terrific game with patch 2 + AUTO

i've been playing offline myleague. different teams adopt different defense strategies. some deploy double on catch(that was like after i scored 6 straight pts with KD). some doubled when at the post.

it really depends on the teams.

yap aware of that. was sharing my gameplay experience so that the community know double teams works and works differently for different teams in post patch. pre-patch, double teams were almost close to none.
