Oh man. Symphonies. Help Im alive. Waving Flags. One day by Matisyahu. Even the In this city pop song is good.

All I know from 2K17 is that one that keeps mentioning Tuesday.

Maybe there is some good stuff in there.

Like 90% of today's rappers always have collaborations on their albums. Writing for other artists have been going on for ages.

I actually really love some of the songs in this years soundtrack - a lot of them have good catchy melodies and rhythm. I did mute some. But overall I'm happy with it. And it has some of the best songs I've heard from 2k in the last few years. 2k10 and 11 are still king to me though. Those games had some amazing songs that a very nostalgic.

My favorite 2k song of all time is probably One Day by Matisyahu. 2k10 had an excellent soundtrack. Electric Feel by MGMT was great too.

Just reminded me of how great the soundtracks were once again. I had to start reminiscing of those songs. We need whoever did those soundtracks back. Nothing is memorable now, they're just overly saturated it feels like.

I usually like the soundtracks for every 2K game but they seriously need to stop with that damn Santigold song.

And it's a sad trend. I have so much more respect for musicians who actually write their own material.

I'm done with this thread lol. Symphonies is a great song, but while I'm playing basketball? I'm good. Obviously according to a very special music snob in this thread the whole 2k soundtrack should be of the alternative/soft rock genre, because that's the music commonly associated with basketball 🤔

I actually think the soundtrack is pretty hot especially the rap songs, what do people not like about it?

                          I liked the soundtracks in 2k8, 2k11,2k12,2k13 and 2k15 (Didn't play 2k9,2k10, or 2k14 so I can't really say much about those)

                          I didn't like 2k16's soundtrack

2k17's soundtrack is fine if you mute all the Drake songs. I don't really hate Drake much but they could have picked some of his better stuff from 2009-2011. I miss the old Drake

Allison Wonderland - I want U, Kali Uchis - Ridin Round, and The Internet - Special Affair make the soundtrack for me

Maybe Im old school (30) lol, but it just seems to me, the more money and popular 2k gets, the more commercial it has gotten.

Go look at the shift of music from year to year its crazy.

This is just my opinion though.

The soundtrack has bar/club/lounge feel to it, not really a basketball tone.

Like if i was hanging out with a girl....these will be the songs I'll play lol
