I’ve been saying this since last year. It’s kind of silly to issue the POG with 3-5 minutes left unless it’s a blowout. Also sometimes you miss it if there isn’t a timeout. Just wish they’d have it and the end of the game like they used to.

I'm alright with it being announced with a few minutes left. That's how they generally do it in real life, if one player is standing out.

I am not and 2K doesn’t work like that. They go by who is ahead at that time. The player on the losing team at the time could have much better stats but he will not receive it because his team is down 1 and it’s 3-4 minutes left. So if his team comes back and wins the game, there is no POG highlights for him.

I am cool with them having something showing a player highlights saying how good he is playing but Player of the Game with a tight game going on and few minutes left? Naaah. Would rather them just go the old route.
