That sounds like fun lol... ask any good player it's not your character's ratings that make you good, it's your skills on the sticks. I agree it kind of sucks for the people who dont have the time to get good at the game, but they just made 2k playgrounds 2 which might better suit your casual taste. I find most of the people that are complaining are just flat out no good at the game and want to blame something other than their lack of skill

Sure il take a fully upgraded player to play online, that does sound fun, on second thought maybe not in this game, also i dont know what "stick skills" your seeing in mycareer online, all iv seen is players shooting half court 3's going all net, and everyone else is inept.

Stick skills? The vast majority of top scorers in proam are sharpshooters. My teammate doesn't even watch the NBA or like basketball much and he's a top 30 proam scorer, I'll let you guess what archetype he is.

Grinding is just boring when you want to play online I need to commit 50 hours to playing the CPU and doing dumb *** drills? Trash. And now the gameplay online is just terrible with the inside-outside imbalance and poor screen mechanics. Maybe if Mike Wang didnt spread mad lies about how the gameplay would be varied we wouldn't be as upset because we wouldn't have bought the game.

Definitely feel fleeced this year.

I've created 2 players and dropped $25 each. I don't even play anymore.

That's $110 i wasted this year and i don't think this year they'll fix the game to balance.

No reason at all to play a big or slasher.

Just an outright lie, shooting is even easier than 2k17 and 18, nothing else to say really. I wont believe a word he says moving forward after that.

Sharps were OP the last 2 years and now stretches supposedly have worse badges but can green "open" releases if the defense is in his Jersey due to height?

Stretch bigs are my favourite archetype to guard, they can never get open against me and usually end up forcing bad shots and then they are so easy to take advantage of on the fast break and defensively

Stretch bigs are my favourite archetype to guard, they can never get open against me and usually end up forcing bad shots and then they are so easy to take advantage of on the fast break and defensively

It's all good until you play a team that has two pure glass cleaners, two stretches at the SG/SF and they both leak out on every shot your team takes because one of the two glasses will get the board. And in the halfcourt they all set screens for each other, so if a switch happens it's usually a guard on a stretch who will just shoot over them like they don't exist.


Also, these kind of stretches in the park are a nightmare and everything you see them do in the park is possible in proam

I pretty much only play sports games (mostly 2k), so don't know about most others, but Fortnite has no grind.

Well I may have chose the wrong games, but my point remains the same. "Grinding" has been a staple of gaming forever. Now it may not be a good fit for a basketball game, but "leveling up" and building a character to work your way up to bigger and bigger challenges/monsters/levels has been around forever.

It's a basketball game offline. With the season in full swing the roster updates actually made the game better. I'm seeing missed shots from the CPU.

I buy this game every year because of the offline game. Nothing more annoying than people lumping online trash with the core game.

I got my guy to 90 a few weeks ago and I've been playing online less and less but that's fine since there's a BETTER offline mode. I don't get why you would willingly put money for your dude only to come here and cry about it.

Offline is the epitome of boring, once you learn what the CPU will do it's all the same. Why play something you know you're going to win at the majority of the time, user vs user experience is far better, if they had MLO working properly I don't see why anyone would even touch offline.

Online is the epitome of boring, once you learn you only play against sharps. Why play something when you know what archetype you're going up against. It goes both ways bub the only difference is that I ENJOY offline and I find online boring. Sorry that bothers you that I'm enjoying the game on offline and not join the online whine brigade.
