It has an insane amount of customization, you can literally tailor make my league to your personal preference, how much more depth do you possibly need?

I mean OK, it could use a few things like sign and trades for example, And the draft presentation could use an overhaul, but I mean it’s a damn good franchise mode all things considered.

So you can decorate your pile of **** with a bow tie, cool.

that myleague is Not playable without 30 Team control, because the AI is Not capable of managing a Team, is one of the key points why myleague Mode is Not Good.

The game this year was not good for me, have not played more than an hour or two, will probably be very ready for next year.

I don’t know what it is about 2K but my time playing it gets smaller and smaller every year since 2K17. I can’t believe I haven’t touched 2K in like 2 months. I think it’s just mainly how the games is played. It’s just not really fun with how everyone is playing the same. I blame 2K because they cater to it somewhat but I really blame YouTube and people being followers looking for all the same releases with the “best green window”, all the same badges, the most effective moves and just ways to play. But this just isn’t 2K, it’s basically all online games.

YouTube been around for awhile but I feel its gotten much worse since 2016 w/ people rushing to see the best builds and etc. I am nervous 2K will never be that fun for me again. At least give me some good MyCareer gameplay and I’ll be good.

Along with the Battlefield franchise, corporate greed has taken over this series. Thank God they put out a beta so I can see for myself how much the game changed. Sad to say, but these games are no longer being made with love. No matter how good it starts off, we slowly transition into a game that is obviously geared toward MTX. The golden age of gaming has come to an end.
So to answer the question, I will not be buying 2K23. I’ve had every 2K since 2K7. I used to watch MomentousCeltic put out some sick videos and that made me convince my dad to buy me an X360 so I can play 2K7 lol. Those were the days.

All of us will. And those who say they won't, eventually will. Just like every year in the past, and every year in the future.

What? Games have never been made with love. It's always been a business.

I've played every 2k since 2k. So yes I'm going to buy 2k23. But since 18 I only ever buy it for half price a few months after release. 2k22 was actually the first 2k I got for Christmas.

Sports games should not be full price anymore. Too little time to make enough changes to justify being a full price game.

I have no idea. I take it one year at a time. I had every 2k from 2k2 to 2k20 (aside from 2k6) but I really haven't liked the direction of the series since 2k18. I didn't buy 2k21 and I haven't bought this year so far but that doesn't mean I won't. When it comes right down to it I can always find other things to do or spend my money on. I hope 2k23 is good enough to convince me to buy, we'll see.

Almost certainly will be buying but I don’t know if it will be day one. They hid 2K22 from the press and didn’t release gameplay videos until days before release. The defence still has massive flaws in PNR and help rotations are too slow. I’d like to say I have the will power to not buy but I expect things will be better and I will buy, likely day 1, unless the early impressions or reviews aren’t good.

The next gen versions don't get much play from me after a few weeks of release. I wanted to be all in for Next Gen but too many bugs have killed my MyNBA experience early for both 2K21 and 2K22. I always go back to PC and continue modding because its less of a hassle than submitting tickets.

If PC is new gen version for 2k23, then its a day one purchase. Anything other than that I have to think about it.

Everyone still checking the forums for updates instead of moving on from a “bad” game will probably be sucked in again just like we were after the disaster that was 2K21. Lol unfortunately I’m one of those people.

All jokes aside I’m actually loving the game this year. I played a few games on Christmas and haven’t been able to finish a game of Madden since even though I’m usually all football until after the Super Bowl. What are we comparing to? Old NBA 2K games? ‘Cause this one is better. Other sports games on the market? ‘Cause this one is the best. Best graphics, best gameplay, best career mode (MLB The Show was weird with the whole 2-way player thing), AND by far the best long-term franchise mode.
