Also, I'm really struggling with inside shots and layups (user).

That's pretty bad, only 28 3pt attempts between two teams.

100% inaccurate...teams shoot more than that...he went on to say he actually didnt have the sliders imported.

not at all, fast players feel fast, slow players feel slow....i like the balance...it allows for fast breaks where the cpu isnt always back to stop a transition dunk or layup.

Roger that. Just feels as though some guys can only walk up the court, even under turbo.

Hey Schnaidt I really love the sliders so far, really like the feel of the game it is very fluid and just feel like a good basketball sim. I have only one issue tho- I literally can’t score inside the paint.

Every time I’m in the paint going for a layup, putback, post shot, or dunk I miss. No exaggeration I’m probably shooting 20% inside the paint. I’ll often get blocked out of nowhere when going up for layups too. There is a lid on the rim when I’m in the paint I swear.

I have tried bumping up close and inside shots from 37 to 40. Hasn’t really helped. Same with layups i bumped up a bit. Still can’t score. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I’ve played about 7 games as a sample size which I realize is still pretty small, but I think I’ve shot better than 40% as a team in maybe 1 or 2 of those 7 games. Not sure if I’m just messing up the controls since it’s been 2 years since I played 2k but really struggling. I have the shot meter for shots only (not layups) if that matters.

You're not alone, I struggle mightily with both inside shots and layups as well. Fast breaks are fine, naturally, but any sniff of a challenge and it's not going in.

They are not default and uploaded under my psn


However i didn't post them because i honestly didn't even really test them. I saw others were goin to and figured id eventually just kinda borrow theirs haha.


I can post what I'm using though if you would like.

Hey Schnaidt, which sliders current? The OP or PSN? I downloaded from PSN and several are different than the OP.

I'm a D-League player compared to most of you so I need to adjust things to make the game competitive but fun.

Every year I take a great slider base like this and adjust the human shot success sliders up quite a bit, inside shot success around 60 and layup maybe 80. After a while I lower it if I feel I'm scoring too easily but it's never to the level of the slider base.

You won't need to adjust it that high but the point is if you were to for example put layup at 60 it might feel like a realistic amount are going in leading to an enjoyable experience while you work on finding your shot instead of feeling frustrated.
