Confirmed, cranked for both CPU and USER. Happened about 3 games after changing them.

I’ll also be slider testing a lot today if anyone wants to come hang out. I’m curious to see which direction you’ve gone armor, compared to me. I saw some of that game last night and it was nice to see FG% coming down.

Yeah we are rapidly closing in on Version 1 for the Bird/Magic Era.

I also am playing with 10 minute quarters both played and sim games. The stats look far better for that Era playing 10 minute quarters.

Game is really amazing.....can’t say that enough.

We will continue to test this week.....then we will test simulated injuries with them cranked to 100 for both the CPU and Human. I already ran 3 dry runs and IMO injuries were excellent at the maxed out level. Nothing over the top crazy.

Once we feel 100% about V1 for the Bird/Magic Era we will then move on to the Jordan Era and see if any tweaks need to be made to the V1 from the 80’s era. My hope is nothing really major at all...maybe some slight tweaks to the shooting sliders.....but we will test the heck out of it.

With 10 minute quarters....I am getting a great pace to the game. Typically takes me 1 hour to finish a game which is great. I play every game in my franchise. So time is important to me.

I think folks need to also realize we are playing on Pro and there is a lot of rope given to the human player....and that is why these are called “Average Joe” sliders. These are for guys like me who are not hardcore 2K players who simply want to have a fun simulation. DOn’t need to be stick jockeys, and don’t get caught up in the inertia of going crazy ADD about stats. It’s an 82 game season.....progressive fatigue and injuries are going to play a role. The practice load your players get plays a role....so many factors at work over the course of 82.

My goal is to have fun first and foremost with this game. I am not nearly as ADD about 2K like I am about The Show or Madden. It’s funny....basketball was always my #3 major sport behind Baseball and Football yet this is my #1 sports video game now (The Show 20 is still there too lol)......I am going to sink 100’s if not 1000’s of hours into 2K23 for the next 5 years easy. It has everything I want. I don’t see a reason to get another basketball game for a very very long time.

Is it perfect? No. But damn it’s close.

So I was greeted with an update this morning [emoji849]. Not sure if it came in yesterday as I didn’t get a chance to play at all yesterday. First game I played felt so different and not in a good way. So much bumping and grinding from defenders all of a sudden. Ball handlers can’t get any space at all. I dropped body up sensitivity down to 40 on both sides and it’s seemed to alleviate the problem so far. My gut is that 2K upped the body sensitivity under the hood to create better on ball defense and lower fg%. I swear they’re gonna patch this game to death at this rate [emoji88]

Welp.....we will find out soon enough. This is why doing sliders for this game is sometimes futile. They simply can’t let the game breath for a month or two. Constantly catering to twitter warriors who whine all day incessantly.

Leave offline gameplay alone....please.

Talking about last en patch… I’m playing with last beta atd roster (modern era) with Eccentric sliders and I didn’t see any red flag…

Man, I love this game to much. I will enjoy this old Eras a lot this coming next years…

Anyone else notice that in the my era mode the scores are extremely high? I'm noticing teams averaging like 117 a game which is high for 1983 there was a game where the Celtics scored 152 and the other team 105 in a simmed game I'm using HOF sliders but no matter what sliders I've tried that seems to be an issue even whit the hand checking.

Great news!! Because I play on an Xbox I will test the sliders on the default rosters. I'll give my thoughs!!

At some point if we have ATD Era Rosters I will switch to them. I'm sure ATD rosters will work fine with your sliders, we are just average players!!

So I start out playing with shooting and free throws on shot timing, instead of real player % every single time I start the game up. It looks like it’s literally just those two settings that are changing for me.

Interesting, I might need to check mine. I haven't played since Sunday but when I did it was like I suddenly couldn't hit shots the same it felt like. It was odd. Now you make me wonder if that is what it was. Tonight when I play I am going to check that to see if that changed.
